Description
Headstone of Capt. Rezen Willcoxon. He built the original house on the Blenheim property in Fairfax, Virginia which burned down in the 1850's. It was rebuilt by his son Albert and remains standing today. Rezen owned about 1000 acres of land in Fairfax County. Was a Captain of the Militia in the War of 1812. He owned and ran a tavern in Fairfax City. The headstone reads, "In Memory Of Capt. Rezen Willcoxen, Died Nov. 28th 1855. Aged 84 years. He was a soldier in the War of 1812
