This is the headstone for John Thomas (J. T.) Presgraves. He was the son of Richard H. and Nancy Presgraves and the wife of Sarah A. E. Presgraves. Born on November 18, 1822, he died on November 8, 1901. The inscription on his gravestone reads, “Be at rest.” In 1854, John Thomas married Sarah; they would have 12 children. John lived in the Broad Run District of Loudoun County.
