Description
This is the headstone of Dr. Hugh Barbour Hutchison, the first son of George and Maria Catherine Hutchison. Hugh would become a successful dentist with a practice located in Washington D.C. With that success he would invest in various properties around the Northern Virginia, including a large tract of land in the area which would eventually become Reston. He was married twice. His first wife Helen died shortly after giving birth to his third son, Charles. He would later marry his wife's sister Ina and would settle in Herndon, just off of Spring Street.
