Sarah Jane Birch's Head Stone

The Remains of the Headstone of Sarah Jane Birch.

While the majority of headstones we removed from the cemetery, this is the only original stone left. While the stone is now unreadable, one source has identified it as Sarah J. Sarah Jane Birch was the daughter who was bequeathed the cemetery by her father, Samuel Birch. She left the cemetery to the maintenance of Arlington County.
