In 1880 William S. Marshall was living in Lee, Fairfax, Virginia with his family. He was 17 years old and worked on the farm.

In 1920 Margaret E. Tyers was living with her husband and children in Lee, Fairfax, Virginia. She was married to the head of the household, and was able to read and write.
