Inconsistencies

The file in the Quick/Gibson family tree on Ancestry.com lists the same siblings as the census records, but different parents (whose age at his time of birth - fourteen and fifteen - also throws that account into question.)
The census data, while trustworthy, is also barely legible.
Certain pieces of information in the account appear to be inconsistent or incorrect with the facts established. William Henry Hicks' date of birth (which would have been related by Lucy, as it did not appear in the court records) is not consistent with the gravestone, although the name of his wife and children indicate that this is definitely the same person. This throws her entire account of the cemetery's contents in to question, and raises the possibility that the markers surrounding his might also be from that cemetery.
