Anne Cecilia Philips

Anne Cecilia Philips is the only one buried in the cemetery that has no relation to the Linton Family. When her half-sister, Sarah Linton, left Lintonsford to become a nun in Georgetown, Anne began selling off portions of the land to farmers for extra money. Angered by her sister's motives, Sarah came home and made the decision to give the remaining land to the Order of St. Benedict. This religious order was known for their ability to maintain and work the land.
