This is the wartime damage claim made by Jesse Harris in February 6,1872. Jesse Harris claimed to live in Watertight, which was close to Warrenton Pike for 26 to 27 years. He owned 262 acres and lived there during the war. He was born free and in his claim he wanted 690 dollars, he got 390 dollars. In his claim, he stated that the Northern Army took 15 tons of hay and his cattle.
