1898 deed

Marshall Family deed from 1898

Deed dated January 31st, 1898 discussed what was to be done to the late Simpson F. Marshall's land.  This deed includes information on other deeds that Simpson F. Marshall was involved in throughout his lifetime.  It reiterates that William H. Marshall and his wife conveyed 100 acres more or less to Simpson F. Marshall.  A deed dated December 19th, 1870 discusses William H. Marshall and wife conveyed five acres of land to Simpson F. Marshall for a specific use.  Another deed dated December 20th 1884 states that a parcel of one acre conveyed by the said Simpson F. Marshall in his lifetime will be conveyed to the trustee of the Lee School District.  This deed also states that a parcel of land containing half an acre more or less, to be conveyed as the "family graveyard" bounded by Ox Road on the east, by Hampton Road on the south, and by the fence or open fields on the north and west sides.
